How can I try a Virtual Visit?

If you are interested in scheduling a Virtual Visit, please call or request an appointment online via the form below and the department will schedule a Virtual Visit with your provider and assist you with your set up.

What are the technology requirements?

Virtual Visits require:

  • Reliable internet access
  • A tablet, smartphone, or video-enabled desktop or laptop computer

Prior to a scheduled Virtual Visit, patients will be sent information on how to access their Virtual Visit.

  • Virtual Visits can be conducted using the Patient Gateway or Zoom platforms. A link to the appropriate platform will be provided ahead of the scheduled visit.
  • Patients can access their Virtual Visits using the Patient Gateway or Zoom app on mobile or tablet devices, or via their internet browser on desktop or laptop computers. 

Please note: Providers are also offering Virtual Visits by phone for patients who do not have access to video technology.

 

How do I prepare for my first Virtual Visit?

Before you connect with your provider, our team will guide you through the process, including logging in to Partners Patient Gateway or Zoom and testing your devices. Otherwise, prepare for your provider visit as you normally would, including having your questions and health updates ready.

What is the cost?

If your insurance covers Virtual Visits, you will be responsible for your standard insurance office visit co-pay.
